      <image:title>Work - EBAY COLLECTIONS</image:title>
<image:caption>eBay collections were launched as an inspirational and editorial shopping experience by surfacing the very best of what eBay has to offer and creating an environment of discovery and community around products through curation and storytelling. My role was to lead a team of curators to create daily collections for eBay’s homepage through careful curation of items and images, drawing the user into a visual story. I was responsible for overseeing the research, inventory sourcing, editorial direction and the final visual presentation of each collection. All of the visual decisions were informed by a series of questions and objectives that included what we want to communicate and why, what is important for the user to know, and how do the text and the visual presentation capture the users attention.</image:caption>

<image:caption>With a background in fine art and art history, I found my way to architectural conservation through an interest in traditional craftsmanship and a curiosity about the history of buildings and spaces. <image:caption>Philip Johnson’s New York State Pavilion (NYSP) was created as a temporary exhibition for the 1964-65 World’s Fair in Queens, New York. My thesis while at the University of Pennsylvania’s graduate program in historic preservation, was on the conservation and presentation plan for the terrazzo floor map of New York State. This work culminated in a post graduate certificate that focused on the removal and conservation of four terrazzo panels. The conservation was conducted in a booth as part of an exhibit at the Queens Museum of Art on the history of the pavilion called Back on the Map: Revisiting the New York State Pavilion at the 1964/65 World’s Fair.</image:caption>

      <image:title>About</image:title>
<image:caption>I am passionate about products and spaces that have an interesting history or design intent and developing ideas for how to present them visually. Whether its through conservation of an object or space, or showcasing a product for sale, I am interested in seeking out the history or story lines-the essential qualities make them significant and compelling. I believe that the combination of research, asking the right questions, and deciding what to communicate and how, are critical to creating visual results that are beautiful, authentic, and clearly understood.</image:caption>
